We Will visit Tarragona to learn about the everyday life, politics, history, art and the way to understand the philosophy, morality and religion before the Muslim invasion.

We will discover the habits of the Romans and their successors, the Visigoths. We will also talk about the first centuries of the Christianity’s evolution at the Iberian Peninsula.

VIC

Crown - Cat II- 1000 AD -

We will visit Vic to discover an essential period that favoured the spread of the Romanesque art, and how the language, landscape, territory and Catalan identity have changed at the end of the first millennium.

During this trip, we will be accompanied in spirit by important historical personalities: the bishops Oliba and Torras i Bages, the poet and writer Mossèn Cinto Verdaguer and the painter Josep M.Sert among others.

GIRONA

Royalty - Cat III- 1300 AD -

We will visit Girona to understand the concept of “Medieval Present”. We will explain the conflicts and dialogue between religions and territories during the centuries. We will discuss the “Low Middle Age” and the wars at the border of the Pyrenees throughout the history.

MONTSERRAT

Glory - Cat IV- 1600 AD -

We will visit Montserrat to understand spirituality, art, culture, nature and religious heritage in a unique, unforgettable and moving landscape.

We will visit the Montserrat Sanctuary nestled in the mountains, the Monastery, the Museum and the sculptures of J.M Subirachs. We will especially focus on the Benedictine and the other Catholic orders that have been linked to the monastery for some time, such as the Jesuits with their founder Saint Ignatius of Loyola.

SITGES

Beauty - Cat V- 1900 AD -

We will visit Sitges to learn about the balance between tradition and the contemporary society, the bohemians, the history of tourism, the secrets of the art market, the heritage and the concept of beauty.

We will walk through Sitges to discuss about the historical evolution of the Catalan fishing villages over the years. We will also analyze the phenomenon of the mass tourism and its positive and negative repercussions on our society.
